ワンポイント英会話 ”So-so”

今回は”So so”についてMattからのワンポイントアドバイスです。

 

People in  Japan often say ‘So-so’, when speaking English but use it the wrong way.
‘So-so’ really has a negative meaning.

‘So-so’ means ‘less than average’, or ‘not good’.

Next time you want to use ‘So-so’ try using ‘Ok’ or ‘It was fine’ instead.

A: ‘How was your day?’

B: ‘It was ok/it was fine.’
